feelings after moving to Stockholm for two months

I have lived in Singapore for a short time before. While this pocket-sized country is not much different from Southern China, with the same humidity, warm climate, and most of its population is Chinese. It is so close with China in food, dressing, and culture that it’s not easy to experience a sense of alienation. But Stockholm is way different. For me, it is a brand new world. Western culture, completely different lifestyle, historical buildings within walk distance, and easy access to the seaside make people feel in a paradise of nature and arts combined. It’s time to slow down and sometimes press the pause button in life.

Due to the pandemic, I reduce the dining rate in the restaurants and instead do the cooking myself. I even created some dishes that combine Chinese and western styles.

roast meat, kale, and bread with mushroom
Asian noodle with Mexico nacho

It is said that the living cost in Northern Europe is the highest in the world, and this judgment is right in some aspects. But in some aspects, I don’t think so. Here I want to share some of my experiences.
